Beauty Jamm xo was created in April 2015 when a lonely university student got bored during her time off in the summer holidays. At first, it was a challenge; 'What can I offer the Internet?' it already has everything. I then decided to create a blog where I can share things that I personally love. This includes things like makeup, hairstyles, food, perfumes, hair removal (I don't love hair removal, but I love it when they're gone!) you get the jist. I enjoy writing about these things, taking photographs and letting people across the globe know how my experience with products or just life, in general, has been.
I'm not trained in any sort of field (unless you count my degree in Computer Science and Mathematics being me in a trained field - don't hold me to that I can't remember half of it... Java and C++ is hard okay!) even though I am not trained in any sort of area I do check my facts, research and try out things before I post anything on the blog.
The views and opinions that are stated here on the blog are my own and not of an organisation, company or any other person unless stated. I do not let organisations or any other person dictate to what I can or cannot put on my own blog (unless what I'm posting is against UK Law in which case, fair enough they or I can take it down... but that will never happen.) All my opinions are honest (cross my heart) and are based on the personal experiences I have had. Every person is different, therefore every product will work differently with different people. If a product worked for me that doesn't mean it will work for you and vice versa. Therefore, if you find that something doesn't work for you I cannot be held liable as I am just stating my personal opinion.
I also want to point out that my thoughts and views change as time goes by, something that I thought in 2015 might not be what I think in 20- whatever year. I do not want to delete posts just because a view of mine has changed so I ask that every blog post be seen as frozen in time, the views and opinions expressed at that point may or may not be the same.
products sent to review
Most of the products that I show or feature on my blog or YouTube videos have been purchased by yours truly. Sometimes I am sent free items to review on the blog as product placement. I love receiving free stuff (who wouldn't!) but I only accept things that I know I or my readers would be interested in. I usually go by if I wouldn't buy it anyway then I probably won't accept it. For example, if a company asked me to try out some cat food for free I wouldn't accept as I don't have a cat and it's not something I'm interested in.
As I said before all opinions and views are my own whether I have been sent a product or not. This means that just because I get something does not guarantee it is going to be a positive review as the opinions are 100% my own and 100% honest.
All free product review posts are marked at the end with a 'PR'; these products are items that have been gifted to me to review.
Sponsored posts
Pretty similar to product reviews, sometimes companies ask me to write a blog post about their products. A sponsored post acts as an advertisement for that company or brand these are different to reviews. I only accept sponsored posts for products or brands that I would buy myself or suit the blogs main theme which is beauty. Other themes may be considered for the YouTube channels such as gaming.
Prices for sponsored posts vary depending on how much work gets put in and social media space they take up. I will NOT write a blog post about a product that I have never used/tested or that I have no knowledge on. I mark all Sponsored Posts with an 'SP'.
fashion, beauty, lifestyle & gaming
The blogs main theme is Beauty, Fashion and Lifestyle so most of the free products that I receive are in these categories. Fashion posts take the longest to write because of the pictures and links I have to add, this means these take longer to publish than other posts. Beauty is the main interest of the blog, I am down for any makeup look from nudes to bright sky blue lipstick. When it comes to makeup I will try anything, same goes for skin care, I love trying new products. As for lifestyle, I will feature posts about fitness, workout routines, smoothie recipes or anything to do with protein and diet. Other lifestyle things include homeware products to review or gadgets to try out. Gaming is not covered on the blog at all but may be done on the YouTube channel, please email me for more information about this. posts are published within two weeks of receiving the product.
Samples
Sometimes I receive Press Samples, some I feature on the blog others I don't. If I do receive a sample and i love the product I will buy the full-size product to feature on the blog but I will mention that I had a sample first. If I like the product but perhaps don't want the full-size product but still want to feature it on the blog then I will mention that I received it as a sample.
Affiliate linking
Some of the links on this blog are affiliate links. This means that I gain a small amount of commission when I link to certain products, this does NOT add any extra cost to you as the viewer it just means I make a small percentage of any sale which I then put back into the blog or YouTube channel. The reason I use affiliate links is that reading/viewing a blog is free and it can sometimes be a challenge to keep a blog or YouTube channel running when you don't have a disposable income. Any affiliate link money is used to spend on products which will be featured on the blog or YouTube channel which in turn keeps the blog running. When I use affiliate links I only link to sites that I use myself and know are trustworthy, I also link to the exact product that had been mentioned so you do not have to search around on the site when you get there.
Please take note that some older links may be broken as over time links change and products discontinue. If this is the case then please let me know in the comments on that particular post so I can remove/replace the link. I would never purposely include a misleading link.

Sometimes I will find images on the web. I don't claim to be the owner of these images and I always link them back to where I found them. The images I find online are usually of things I cannot physically take myself. For example, if I did a wishlist post I would need to outsource for images that aren't mine as they wouldn't be on my wish list if I had one to take a picture of. If you are the owner of an image on the blog and you want it removed please email me and I will remove it as soon as possible.
Any personal verbal attack or remarks will be deleted whether it be toward me or another reader. This may also lead you to be blocked from commenting on the blog if you continually comment these types of things. Bullies aren't allowed here, I've had enough of them in personal life and they will not be tolerated. This also goes for spam messages. I cannot be held responsible for what others post in the comments or any online content they may link to in their comment. I will delete where appropriate but sometimes I miss these types of comments.

However, insults, vulgar or sexually explicit language is not accepted and will be deleted. Other comments may also be removed if they contain racism, sexism, ageism or any other type of 'ism'.
